So the basic deal is this:

We LOVED our time at Q-Division. We would cut off our... y'know... to return there and saturate some analog tape. We will some day, we just don't have the Benjamin's to pull it off. For now, we figure that waiting for money to fall from the sky is retarded. We owe it to ourselves AND yourselves to record however we can. That's what 'independent' means right? Get it done however, wherever.

I just dumped a load of cash on a 24 channel digital recorder (ADAT HD for the geeks). James got a mixer. I'm getting some monitor issues squared away. We'll rent what we have to.

In October (or November) we're going to lock ourselves into a house on the Cape for 6 months (well, maybe only a week - we're efficient!) and get this ball rolling. A release by years end is maybe too ambitious, but dare I say February '08?

I'm securing the necessary cabling and gear to make this happen. Though I've engineered all of our demos, it will be my first OFFICIAL engineering of a TruckeR release (unless we can find money to fly out our beloved "Official Engineer" - Tina 'Star Love Girl' Morris) She's probably too busy fixing 2 inch tape machines for the Smashing Pumpkins (you've gotta have your priorities).

We've begun to plan out the recording of our first full length! The plan is to hole up in John's parents place on the Cape in Oct/Nov. I'll post details as they come up.
